In far too many Black communities around the world, families go to bed hungry—even with a church just steps away from their home.

This isn’t due to a lack of compassion. It’s due to a lack of strategic funding, aligned partnerships, and unified economic infrastructure.

Globalliance Strategic Communities created the Square Mile Partnership Model to address this very gap. A Square Mile is a defined geographic zone—approximately one square mile in size—where a local Black church serves as the spiritual and economic anchor of its community.

Within that square mile, the church partners with: Local Black-owned businesses, Residents and volunteers, and Faith-based outreach teams.

Together, they form a closed-loop ecosystem that circulates money, resources, and services within the community—not away from it.
